YEAH - how much do we LOVE

pull ups and running?

I know

{------------------------------------------------------------------}

that much!!! It's like I am holding out my arms for the world to see!

OK, enough of my silliness!

WOD is

100 pull ups , oh I know that sounds tuff. But wait......
Every time your feet touch the ground, you run a 400. Plus we are aiming to get this done in 20 minutes or less!

This explains it all, Crossfit in a nutshell:

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds,
some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but
not body fat.
■ Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean,
squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.
Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns
as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.
Regularly learn and play new sports.

It was 16something ish... That sucked! I think going to Pennywise and slam dancing in a pit with gigantic men was really not a recovery day. LOL

I now owe Jay one 400m run, and 25 burpees because pull up 100 was a pathetic excuse for a pull up.

Thanks for the running partner on the last 2 Jay, made it more bearable!

Awesome job Sam, Chandler and Jay! Glad to be a part of the 10:00am team!

Fostering frailty + encouraging learned helplessness = An epidemic of disability.

This is such a bad equation!

What we do, keeps us away from becoming so unfavorably, functionally, dependent
with other people.
