Pulled this one out of the Hopper Deck...

Sounds fun and tough all rolled into one.

150 kettle bell swings for time. Pick a challenging weight and go for it!

Mel and I saw a sweat shirt in Aromas, and I just thought of it...

SOFA KING TOUGH!!!!

Alena implied that I was weak, which I found to be cruel and malicious, so I used the heavy 32kg kettle bells to try to rebuild my self esteem. All that really accomplished was a couple of new blisters.

So, since Jay thinks I called him out on this one, I am to use the 24kg kbs for this WOD. Ughhhh, damn it Jay, might as well wear the vest too. :-)

I did this at the base and I could only find the 16kg KB's

I did it in 6:07, way to easy next time 20kg. (I think I would have been under 5min if they were not playing country music!!)

I also did 24 min spinning, standing (took seats off bike so could not sit) had to stop 2 x for 45 sec.

50 KB windmills (25 per arm) used a 16kg and I could feel the bridge from yesterdays tabata, so I guess it did work!!

Alena--I thought you said NO WD this week only strength??? hahahhaaa I knew you would cave

Alena, great work on your sub 8 and thanks for the WOD and your coaching!

Outstanding work output from everyone this evening!

Harold and Kumar, you guys did very well. The commitment and intensity you have exhibited this evening are unparalleled!

Ha Jay - I took your challenge and kicked ass! :-)

7:35 at 24kg.
Did dead lifts before, and nailed 115kg for my max of 5. Slowly creping up there.

Sam, I was sad not to see you today since it was a kettle bell day. Show me that windmill with kettle bells! I count it as a strength day, so it wasn't really a WOD. See excuses - hehe

Mel, OUTSTANDING performance today!

As always a pleaseure to be with all of you for so much of my day I can't believe how lucky I am to have you all part of my daily memories and LIFE!!

Way to go everyone. I so underestimated this workout. I'm going to have to really work on that whole hip business. Still managed a 8:35.
