Today's WOD is one of Jason's favorite...

"50 in the Clip"

50 burpee clean and jerks at 40kg for time. :-)

For those of you who missed FGB today, we will do that workout as a makeup for you today.

Thank you all for the wonderful response to the Paleo Challenge, and to the gym itself. I wake up daily saying thank you to each and every one of you!

So, today, while updating my food log , I discovered that a tomato is technically (botanically) a fruit however was deemed a vegie for a tariff law Wikipedia:Fruit or Vegetable and is also deemed a vegie for culinary purposes. Who knew that botany and culinary could decide independently fruit/vegie status?
Seriously, I'm going with the culinary definition of the tomato as a vegie....God save the grape tomato...and my sanity

Congrats Mel !!

the time on the board was something like 6:23 so your 5:09 means there is a new record time, unless someone else tonight beat 5:09?

Thanks. I didn't really pay much attention to the clock. It was just a good day for me and I am very thankful. A combination of having a good night sleep last night and a honed nutritional program was fundamental and of course the basic foundation of just trusting your body to perform better than yesterday is key.

One important thing to remember is that your success stems from the mutual respect, support, and the communal feeling that comes from the group suffering during our classes at Battleborn Crossfit.

I will see you all tomorrow.
Have a good night...
