Thursday 30, April 2009

It has been a GOOD leg week so far, had a few requests for something not so leg intensive today.

ALL RIGHT, this is one we have not had in the rotation for a while, and is always a good one....

Death by Pull Ups

I can hear you now, what the.... is that Alena?

1 pull up the first minute (2 if your jumping)
2 pull ups the second minute (4 jumping)
3 pull ups the third minute (6 jumping)
and on up until you can not perform the number of pull ups for the minute you are on.

I will allow bands on this WOD, but it will be the lowest band you can use for a max rep.

(Just to make sure, if you get to minute 17 you will do 17 pull ups.)

I know, I know, now that you know what it is you wish it was workout time already!

Chandler,
I still haven't met you. But good luck in the Marathon this weekend! From the times you post and your reputation, you could probably complete it carrying another adult the whole way :-)

Thanks or the support! I hope to meet you soon as I've heard a lot about you. This should be a great experience and a testament to Battle Born Crossfit and Crossfit Endurance. I'll be wearing my Battle Born Crossfit shirt out there, gotta support the gym!

Run well Chandler. Even and steady pace brotha... even and steady.

I came down with the swine flu... I mean common cold last night so I will not make it in to the gym today. Have fun everyone.

I ate a half rack of ribs last night as a defense for the Swine Flu, and it seems to be working so far.

That wod was fun, minus the three new blisters.

19 rounds.

Sorry guys, went home with a sick kid - could be the swine flu, but I think he eats to much pork rhines for that LOL

So, I will be doing this WOD tomorrow with my normal stuff :-) YAY

I completed 25 rounds. I only completed 21 pull-ups on round 26. I had an average of a 10 sec rest from round 1 -13, and 30 sec rest after I got to round 14 to 25. It came out to 19:56ish and at total of 346 pull-ups( 325 pull-ups if you don't count the last 21 pull-ups on round 26). I hope I did them right. I'm sorry if I didn't. See you tomorrow at the 4 or 6 class!!
Chandler good luck! I know you'll do well!!
