Good Sunday workout if I do say so myself. :-)

I just did a trail half marathon in Tahoe City this morning with Matt.
The air was crisp, weather was just right, the breeze from the lake was just perfect but the course profile for the run was quite tough! Very steep climbs that we had to power walk.
I could not wait to cross the finish line where they were serving burgers and beer from Buck Bean Brewery. Of course I had the burger but drank Ensure with Matt instead of beer. So much for post run nutrition.
Matt did very well. He captured first in his age category of 21-30 years old. He kept a good pace with the seasoned runners. Strong work, brother!
Overall, it was a fun but challenging Sunday morning.

Mel,
You're turning into a running maniac! Good job Matt!
Tomorrow, our noon IGT crowd is going to do the Battle For the Rattle course for our WOD. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Nice job Mel. You are always welcome to run some CFE/SPeed/Tempo workouts with us on Monday nights, 5:30 at Mira Loma Park.
