Run amuck in downtown Reno was a blast! Thanks to everyone who came out to support the team. The mud crawl followed by bathing in the Truckee river with the Battle Born CrossFit family is an experience to remember. Looking forward to the next "mud bath" in 2010.
The 10 K "moms on the run" foot race this morning was a lot of fun! Battle Born Crossfit was again well represented. Betsy, Chandler and I for the 10k. Alena, Justin and Evan for the 5k. Excellent job, guys! Looking forward to the legacy climb this Sunday and the very much anticipated Odyssey run in 2 weeks.
Hey Mel- I totally missed you... I ran into Betsy, but no one else. I also did the 10k, and looked for you all, until I entered my own he#$! What was your (approx) time? What fun!
this has been a great weekend. Fist Run a Muck was a blast. I literally swam through the mud and now my right eye is swollen from all the mud in it....next year goggles are in order. The river bath afterword felt great!
Moms on the run was another excellent event. We had our pink Battle Born Crossfit T-shirts on and I still had some marker on my back from Run a Muck.
Great job on these events everbody! Next stop, Climb the Legacy!
Run A Muck was a blast, Evan was my partner with the camo, and the blck sharpie CrossFit on our back. The mud bog was great - lees the eye problems we had. :-)
Moms on the Run today was a great way to spend they day with not only the BBCF team, but my son as well. Was slottedto o the 10k, but Evan got a cramp in the calf, so we finished out with a solid 5k. Got him a bannana, and he was good to go!
Finished my day with the WOD today, and pulled out 24:09 with GHD situps instead of regular situps (abs should be as happy as my legs are by Tuesday)
Thanks everyone an awesome way to spend my Mother's day weekend.
Odyssey here we come, and a cool in a psyho sort of way to spend my birthday. :0)
