Alena, no way training too much, not sleeping and eating crappy will make you sick. Trust me, I know! Now get better.....
Glad to have you back! Let us know if you need anything.
Get well soon!
Thanks guys I'm working on it.
Out of commission in the working out area till Dr. Magboo clears me - now I know I'm in trouble when that happens. Was feeling better today, following orders to a T, but tonight feeling sick again, abscess feels like its filling up again. Gawd I hope not. My dumb luck it is.
So, moral to the story:
Eating less than 1200 calories a day be it Paleo or not, working out 2 or so times a day, working 8 plus hours along with the gym and Evan, and sleeping less than 5 hours a night with a fairly high stress level will result in a quick onset of a very nasty virus that both doctors I have seen said usually takes 10-15 days of continued unchecked sickness to develop. Ummm yeah, mine started Wed afternoon, 104 fever Wed night unable to swallow Thursday, in hospital Friday.
So once again, can we all learn a lesson from the queen of dummies, listen to our body when it screams at you for months, weeks, days, or the level of athletes I see and deal with on a daily basis telling me its going to catch up to me. I can tell you all when your over training, I can see it in your performance, your attitude, your body language, times posted on the board, but do I stop to evaluate mine? I hope this is a lesson learned for me and not a brush it under the rug and forget about if moment.
Can we tattoo 12/18/10 on your inner forearm so you remember that you said this?!?
