Today is Robin's birthday! Happy birthday Robin - we will be doing a team WOD today for Art and Robin's birthday's combined.
"50 + 3"
50 tire flips - this is to be completed together (especially if you get the big tires)
then one team mate goes to
50 sledge hammer swings - 25 on each arm
the other goes to
50 wall balls
when both are done you switch movements
when both of these movements have been completed by both team mates you then do the same thing for
50 burpees
and the other goes to
50 ball slams
again switching when both have completed fifty
Where does the 3 come into play you ask????
HAHA there is a 3 minute max time limit on each movement - if you or your partner does not complete a 50 rep movement in 3 minutes, you run a 200m lap for each movement for each team member (so, if you both fail to get 50 burpees in 3 mins you run 400m one 200 for each of you) to be ran at the end of the WOD - counted in your total time. :-)

50 Burpees in under 3 mins fresh for some of us is hard - haha!
With the tire flips, with the differnet sizes we have, you can switch off with other teams (if you draw a big tire, and they get the little tire).

Good WOD. Fun too. 50 burpees in 3 mins is tough but can be done. We owed 400M after. Total time was 18:41.
16:47 I want to say? We ran one 200M lap afterward, but should have ran two so our time should have been more along the lines of 17:30 or so? Fun WOD!
Great WOD. Everyone did awesome, not to mention the teamwork and support we saw among the fellow crossfitters.
My sister and I did not like ending with burpees, however it was the best feeling when it was completed.
In addition, we were not teammed up. Jackie was teamed with our Dad (Art) and Jenny was teamed up with Matt. Our partners did their part as we did ours. Good motivators and support system. Thanks guys!!!
On a side note, we had penalties, so we ran them after the WOD.
