Starting the week off with a good solid performance in strength and metabolic conditioning!

Strength:

Back Squat

5-5-5

No press today in strength but we have another great shoulder and upper body movement

Handstand holds

5 rounds of max effort with a 2 min rest in between

Metcon:

The VW

21-15-9

Bench press - body weight
Pull ups

60kg 6:54 - holy cow my chest is sore today!

Handstand holds - 1:45 (I didnt see Travis 1:50 till after) 1:15, 1:15, 1:30, 1:15

And as usual briniging up the bottom with my squats at 80kg

8:23 on the metcon @ 75Kg. Those bench presses got heavy QUICKLY! The effects of my time off have become very apparent.

Handstand holds - 1:52, 1:23, 1:00, 1:00, 1:00.

Squats were 100Kg, 120 Kg & 140 Kg (failed on 5th rep at 140 Kg).

Was expecting sore shoulders today, but they feel surprisingly good. : )

Oh christ Travis my chest is killing me - lets see how those Thrusters feel. :-)
